In reflecting on the happenings in my life, I wish to share them in their context, i.e. the Divine Milieu in the present sense.   I am surprised, chagrined, and must laugh at myself for taking three score and seven years to stumble upon what was there right in front of me from the beginning…as Fr. Barron says in “Catholicism,” recognize = re cognition, to know again – however Platonic that may sound, God’s wisdom is there for us to “reveal,” to unveil, within the mystery of being which brings me back to my initial point.  I recently woke up to the fact that God is Being, God is Love, therefore Being is [a manifestation of God’s] Love.  Everything, every granite rock, robin, tendril of beans, every babbling baby, every toddering senior, every everything is a manifestation of God’s love for me and you and you and you ad infinitum.

Concerning this blog, many, while reading, will think of “The devil made him do it;” However, I declare“The Spirit made me do it.”  I was agitated before I began…and am still nervous, not being easily guided by the Spirit [it is a loss of control, you know].  But I’ve noticed that if you don’t do what the Spirit wants, (s)he is a nudge major time, including throwing “Do not hide your light under a bushel basket but put it on a lamp stand for all to see.” at me in my reading Rediscovering Catholicism.

Jesus manifests the same bowing to the impetus of the Spirit: At once the Spirit drove him out into the desert. [Mk 1:9] “I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing. There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is my anguish until it is accomplished!” [Lk 12:49-50]

So it is better to give in and do the deed…please accept this as the context of my intermittent comments…
